I am VERY proud to announce that the Edgerton Autism Group is already getting quite a bit of attention. The Edgerton Reporter ran a front page story on us this week! They went as far as to interview faculty members from the school district and even quoted the elementary school psychologist, Cyril Converse, as saying that what we are trying to do with the EAG is "great" and "will serve as a much needed sounding board".

We've also recieved several donations this week which will help out with our first meeting this Saturday.  Dr. Jay Peterson, of Peterson Chiropractics, gave us a check to put towards refreshments. Brandon Whitmore, owner of Paul Revere's Pizza, is giving us a wonderful deal on food. Edgerton Health Mart Pharmacy donated some Edgerton Tiders' sports bottles that we will be giving away as door prizes.

It's safe to say that we've already made more of an impact than I was expecting... and our firsst meeting isn't for another two days! What a great feeling.

Clockwise from left to right, is my wife Sarah; our oldest son, Taylor; myself (Leigh Pierce); owner of the center where we hold our meetings, Brenda Hyams; and in the middle, my angelic little reason for all of this, Johnny.
